My professional handling began when I was approched by Moira Barras (Gallondean), a select kennel of Skye Terriers, spanding over 26 years, with numerous home bred champions. Moira is also an International Judge and gives out Challenge Certificates in numerous breeds including Skye Terriers! I was honoured to be asked to handle for her!!!

 It was late 2007 when I was asked to be Moira's handler for her two Skye Terriers, Kelly (Ch Gallondean Charlies Angel ShCM) and Rory (Gallondean Moonlite Shadow ShCM) for the fourth coming show in March 2008, this show being Scottish Breeds Championship Show. I started training each week with Kelly and Rory at ringcraft classes, them being Terriers it takes a while to win their trust over! I successfully did so. On the day of the show I was placed 2nd with Rory (Gallondean Moonlite Shadow ShCM ) in Post Graduate Dog and 1st with Kelly (Ch Gallondean Charlies Angel ShCM ) in Open Bitch. I was extremly pleased with this as it being my first time handling this breed.
